Ordering We will not sell or deliver alcohol to anyone who is, or appears to be, under the age of 18. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We reserve the right to refuse delivery or cancel an order if we have reasonable doubt regarding the age of the recipient.

The placing of an order on morados.co.uk does not constitute a contract. A contract is only formed when we accept your order and dispatch the goods. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion. All goods are offered subject to availability; we cannot guarantee the availability of a specific batch (e.g., Batch #3).

Delivery We fulfill deliveries through Royal Mail (or a similar age-verified 3rd party partner) to the UK mainland. This service includes a Challenge 25 check. Valid photographic ID will be required upon delivery if the recipient appears under 25. If valid ID cannot be provided, the parcel will be returned to us.

We endeavor to ship orders daily, Monday to Friday. Most orders are delivered within 1–3 working days. For special requests, please add a note at checkout or email theteam@morados.co.uk.

Complaints Please contact us at theteam@morados.co.uk with as much detail as possible. We aim to acknowledge all complaints within 24 hours and provide a resolution within 48 hours. Every complaint is handled confidentially by a director.

Crime prevention

For the purposes of the prevention or detection of offences, and/or the apprehension or prosecution of offenders, we may share any information that we collect with the Police, other public or private sector agencies or representative bodies in accordance with the relevant legislation. Information shared in this way will not be used for marketing purposes.

2. Privacy Policy

Morados is committed to protecting our customers' privacy. This policy applies where we act as a data controller regarding your personal data.

How we use your personal data

  • Order & Transaction Data: We process your name, address, and email to fulfill our contract with you.

  • Age Verification Data: We process your date of birth or age confirmation to comply with our legal obligations under the Licensing Act 2003.

  • Usage Data: We may process data about your use of our website (IP address, location, browser type) to improve our services. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in monitoring and improving our website.

Providing your personal data to others We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with essential partners:

  • Payment Processors: Squarespace (Stripe) for secure transactions.

  • Delivery Partners: Royal Mail (or other couriers) to get your vermouth to you.

  • Legal/Fraud Prevention: Law enforcement agencies where necessary to tackle fraud or comply with legal obligations.

Data Retention We retain order data for as long as necessary to provide customer service. For tax and legal compliance (as Jack is an accountant, you'll know this well!), we typically retain transaction records for 7 years.

3. Refund & Return Policy

Returns Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we unfortunately cannot offer a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your bottle must be unopened, unused, and in the same condition that you received it.

Faulty or Damaged Goods We will provide a full refund or replacement for any products that are faulty (e.g., corked or damaged in transit). We may require the faulty bottle to be returned to us; in these cases, we will arrange the return at our expense.

Unless the item is faulty, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
